The Avondale Gallery is located in the Historic Shoppes of Avondale, an artistic district of Jacksonville, FL. Open to the public for the past 25 years, the gallery is dedicated to featuring original artwork from both local and international artists. The owner, Brad Trader, presents diverse works from many established and emerging artists. Currently, we feature a variety of artists with styles ranging from impressionism to realism to modernism.
The gallery is also home to some of the finest Portrait artists in the nation. Representing only museum-quality portrait artists, The Avondale Gallery can offer a wide medium from oil paintings to pastels, charcoal, or graphite drawings for any budget.
Throughout the year the gallery offers resort style Workshops which are often taught by the very artists whose artwork hangs on the gallery walls. The workshops are designed for all skill levels.
The Avondale Gallery offers custom framing to fit all budgets and needs. We specialize in conservation framing to protect your valuable art and memorabilia by using acid free foam boards, mats, fitting materials, and conservation glazings. We offer standard, conservation, and museum framing.
